I sat one sordid night thinking
About what it would be like
To actually have something to do
To achieve a goal unattainable
Is it too much to ask for?

They say dreams should be pursued
They said never give up
If times get difficult, call on me
Ill be there by your side
Was it friendship or just hearsay

Today I am in-between four walls
The world outside points its fingers
Questions my trust in people
Still they will have something to say
The society that hides & serenades 

But all I want is to ask a question
A simple, yet thoughtful one
How does one live if not live by choice
If I follow you, will you be the guide
Of my destiny; a fate not by choice.

..Forlorn Thoughts..

There came a time in my life where I  thought or assumed that I had to do the right thing. So I gave up all my childish ways and thought like an adult. I started to see my life through the eyes of my parents because according to me that was the right thing to do. But what I didn't see coming my way was the storm that has now brought me to a position where I don't know the difference between right and wrong.
