Everything's murky,
everything has changed,
the world I cherished,
burnt in flames.

Life is a mystery,
everything entailed,
I lived to relinquish,
everything but the sane.

The friendships have frayed,
everybody is alone,
we lived a dream,
in a glass pane.

The beliefs have been replaced,
with contempt 'n anger,
body and soul lifeless
where all hope prevailed.

..Forlorn Thoughts..

There came a time in my life where I  thought or assumed that I had to do the right thing. So I gave up all my childish ways and thought like an adult. I started to see my life through the eyes of my parents because according to me that was the right thing to do. But what I didn't see coming my way was the storm that has now brought me to a position where I don't know the difference between right and wrong. If I follow my heart I'll hurt everyone around me and if I follow the way of my parents I'll never be happy. Well, that s what love does to us. I am starting to lose every bit of sanity on what is the right way out of this problem. Which weighs heavier religion or the happiness of the mind?
