Deep down in me there’s a monster
A monster to be set free & be me
But the real me isn’t as good
So what will the judge say on the final day
I’m tired of pretending to be something I ain’t
I’m tired of loving n living life to blame
Everything’s just a haze
But deep down I know I am me
A monster yet to be free
To be set free by them
None other than this social prejudice
I want see the world and live life as me
I tried and tried
But I jus couldn’t try any longer
I wanted to be something different
Different for you and me
I wanted you to stay
Stay and say you loved me
But this world and its regulations
They just don let you be until its legal
Legality is a monstrosity
So when you letting me; be me?
Why not jus let me live young n wild n free?

I had chanced upon a picture which had inspired me to write this poem. I hope you ll like this!! There he stood dressed in white facing the sea thinking of her enjoying the breeze He picked some sand held it tight fisted watched it slip away just like the years wasted for her When she walked in the violins played her eyes were ablaze like from a movie screen her cheeks pearlish white He tried to forget her even did some counselling but all in vain for whatsoever he tried he couldn't forget her smile As he waited patiently the years flew by his silence grew stronger and so did her pride finally she realised As she stood transfixed tears in her eyes and each word made sense for he left her a note before he disappeared into the night.

How silent is your silence Is it as silent as mine How cold is loneliness How empty is your heart Just as empty as mine Cold and cumbersome The Old is gone replacing every new space the stand for right the guiding light wrong statement of trusted hurting my very pores will it subside? I am silent for my good I am silent of my love I am silent for every reason that I haven't heard from my mouth As silence dies into laughter & solace And silent stays When your there Stuck in my thoughts That can never be ERASED.
